Hey, I’m Michelle

I feel so grateful to exist along this path - in service to you. It is the only way I know how to be, and has been for some time….I thank God for this.

Pursuing Labor and Delivery Nursing as a career propelled me forward on this journey and informed so much of why I choose to serve in the way I do now. It illuminated the complexities of systemic harm, provided intensive experience and understanding of the physical body, and ultimately revealed the clarity within me step into true leadership and care.

The truth is, I did not expect to ‘go against the grain’, nor was that in my personality. Birth work was the gift that showed me what courage and authentic living is - through witnessing the rawness and vulnerability of women go through this rite of passage.

At this point I have witnessed hundreds of births in all forms. Hospital births attended by obstetricians, hospital births attended by midwives, home births attended by midwives, freebirths, and births in other countries with completely different customs.

I have held space for, witnessed, and walked women through infertility, stillbirth, miscarriage, and abortion.

I have supported dozens of families in their postpartum stages. Observing the bliss and grief of this portal, and how deeply needed care and grace is for mothers, fathers, and their babies.

Womb work is interwoven into the entirety of how I serve - the womb being at the centre of it all. Womb literacy is a forgotten piece of women's health, and is needed for whole body healing.

I am here to serve in the way God has called me to be of use, in faithful trust and reverence for the nature of these bodies. I am here to serve women in all stages of their journey ~ birth to death.

Wherever you are on your journey, I am so glad you found your way here - to the narrow path that leads to LIFE.

See you soon!

Michelle

Layers of Expansion & Knowledge

I am forever a student of life. It is one of the greatest gifts to continue to learn as I serve, and a value I hold in my practice. I have completed more trainings and workshops than I can even keep track of, which shows my true and pure devotion to being as educated as I can in the ways I serve.

Having said that, here are some of the education portals I have been a a part of which deeply impact my work:

Womb Continuum Practitioner Training with Carly Rae Beaudry and Andrea Terones, 2023 (currently in training)

Physiologic Baby Care Training, with Rachelle Garcia from Innate Traditions , 2022

Holistic Full Spectrum Doula Training, Pacific Rim College, 2020

Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree completed at the University of Western Ontario, 2019
